Cedar Tub Soaks
-
Hot water is hot water, but our hot tubs are a little different. Cedar is more than a durable, beautiful wood with a pleasant scent. The very oils that give cedar it's longevity and fragrance also make their way into the water to add to the health benefits. Cedarwood oil can improve skin and hair health in various ways. It is known to improve hair growth, alleviate scalp conditions, and treat acne, eczema and other skin conditions due to it's antimicrobial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties.

While the thought of deliberately exposing your entire body to freezing-cold temperatures might sound counter-intuitive, cold exposure (also known as cold therapy) has several scientifically-validated health benefits that include increasing your energy levels, boosting your immune system, and making you more resilient to cold temperatures and other stressors.
The Ice Bath is not for the faint of heart and gets as cold as 42°F, so get ready to heighten your senses.
Saunas
-
Not to be confused with a sauna, a steam room is a space with a water-filled generator that pumps moist heat into the room. The temperature of the room is typically a balmy 110 degrees Fahrenheit, and it’s so humid, it’s not uncommon to see water beading down the walls.
-
Our traditional dry sauna, on the other hand, creates a hotter, dryer heat. The temperature is usually much higher than in a steam room and a little extra humidity can sometimes be added by pouring water over the hot rocks in the room.
At La Naturale we have one inside our facility and one located outdoors. In the winter you can take your time relaxing in our outdoor sauna and than directly plunge into so fresh snow.

Himalayan salt is the purest on Earth and was created more than 250 million years ago. As salt is an essential element for life, this is a highly beneficial experience in many ways as salt penetrates the body through the skin using a natural osmosis process, helping regulate the body's water content and balancing its energy by making stress disappear. The result is a clear sensation of vitality and lightness in addition to well-nourished and toned skin.

Infrared Saunas are an effective tool to detoxify the body in an effort to strengthen the immune system. They differ from traditional saunas in the sense that they heat your body directly from within on a cellular and metabolic level without warming the air around you.
Infrared wavelengths are the invisible part of the sun’s spectrum consisting of near (NIR) mid (MIR) and far (FIR) rays. These rays have the ability to penetrated the human tissue.

Our biomat has technology to block EMFs while pulsing infrared frequency through amethyst crystals to increase cellular metabolism, promote detoxification and amplify crystal healing.

We offer a quiet outdoor mediation alter for our guest. Lined with Bolsters and pillows for comfort, this space makes perfect sense to take a meditation practice outside, where you can soak up the sounds of the birds chirping and the wind blowing through the trees.
Adjacent, enter the serpentine path of a rock labyrinth. You can walk slowly while quieting your mind and focusing on a spiritual question or prayer.
Hot/Cold/Relax & how it works
Before you enter the bathhouse, shower off & suit up
Showering off (with soap!) is required to cleanse the body of fragrances, sweat, yuck, etc. This improves the communal experience and maintains the cleanliness of our bathhouse. We have personal showers available in our locker room for you to hop into.
Bathing suits are required, so use this time to change if needed. We do sell bathing suits at our facility, in case one is forgotten.
Sweat it out in the sauna for 15 minutes
Take your pick between our saunas. We recommend spending 15 minutes in the sauna but, as with all things, listen to your body.
Listen to your body and adjust based on what it’s telling you. If you feel flu-like symptoms discontinue and let our staff know.
Pre- Session
Wait at least 1-2 hours after eating before beginning an infrared, wet, or dry sauna session.
Hydrate with a minimum of 8 ounces of water to prepare for an increase in core body temperature.
Cool down in the cold shower & ice plunge
After the sauna, step into our cooling shower for a rinse before entering the ice plunge. The shower helps rinse away sweat to keep the cold plunge clean.
The cold plunge can be a shock! We encourage you to reclaim your breath during this portion of the circuit with easy 6-in-6-out breath counting. We recommend spending 1-5 minutes in the cold plunge.
Relax, rehydrate, repeat
Recharge at our indoor our outdoor furniture. Make sure to give your body some much-needed hydration - we have a water bottle filling station.
We recommend lounging for as long as you’d like. Repeat the Hot/Cold/Relax circuit for the remainder of your bathhouse visit.
Post- Session
Rehydrate with 8-24 oz of water to replenish fluids
